I’m Sue Cotter, a business coach specialising in helping women like you to create a thriving business. Taking on a franchise has its ups and downs. The plus is that you get a business in a box - all the manuals, systems and processes that have been proven to work.
The minus is that, whilst you’re on your own, there are expectations from above about your success rates - sales figures, turnover, franchise fees - and the pressure is on.
Even with all the instructions it sometimes seems as though you’re reading something that’s been translated - badly - from Chinese! There are bits that you hadn’t realised needed doing - and are not aligned to your personal skill base.
